Tata Spent 660 cr in CSR in 2013-14

In 2013-14 TATA spent 660 crores in corporate social responsibility(CSR) activities nwhich includes a wide range of programs related to skill development, livelyhood, education, health, bio-diversity and disaster relief.

The company has been spending at an average of 1000 crores per annum on CSR, in the past decade it has spent arond 8000 crores. For the year 2013-14, the figure alone is 660 cr.Tata sons as recently launched itsown Corporate Social Responsibility Program(CSR)-Tata Sustainibility Group(TSG).
TSG will guide support and provide leadership to all Tata Companies to enhance theirworkability and sustainibilityin itself. TSG has also focused o volunteering programmes for all of its companies.
In 60 countries and 540 different locations, there are around 25000 employees in all 150 Tata Corporations.
