Huawei Announces 4G broadcast trial.

The leading ICT solution provider, in collaboration with EE, the BBC and Qualcomm technologies explored the role that 4G can play in future broadcasting.

 The trial will be carried out at BBC R&D future of Broadcasting Showcase in the gasgow Science Centre from 24th July to 3rd August.
The broadcast trial is bein designed to deliver - high quality, uninterrupted live streaming to mobile devices, with no buffering.

 The live BBC content will be streamed using eMBMS- evolved Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Servibe. Using eMBMS, to deliver TV over 4G is an incredible demonstration of capabilities of LTE said EE ,CTO Fotis Karonis.
